Abstract

The familial occurrence of IgA nephropathy or IgA nephropathy with Henoch-Schoenlein purpura (HSP) is a well described phenomenon. There are almost no reports of familial cases of HSP. We report herein three families with more than one member suffering from HSP and try to explain the phenomenon.
