Abstract
The article reports on a female patient with extrauterine pregnancy in whom ultrasonography simulated an intrauterine amniotic sac, so that tubal pregnancy in this patient was not recognised in time. On the basis of this case, the ultrasonographic criteria of diagnosis and their reliability are discussed. In this connection, both symptomatology and clinical course are of decisive importance.
