N2 - This article describes an example of an in-house eye care clinic for elderly nursing home residents. The success of this clinic is due not to any one person, but to the combined efforts of a team: a clinic supervisor, a nursing assistant, a medical assistant, an ophthalmic technician, and an ophthalmologist. The implications of providing good and effective eye care to nursing home residents are discussed.
