Abstract
Subtracted images can be obtained by optical filtering of a composite record containing multiple exposures of the two scenes suitably encoded by a speckle pattern. An experiment has been carried out to compare the performance of such a system when the multiple exposures are related to each other by the binomial coefficients or by the optimal coefficients which are determined by the size of the filtering slit.
