Abstract

The active power in nonlinear single-phase circuit is measured by a new specially-developed experimental model. The experiments are carried out for sinusoidal and nonsinusoidal voltage and current waveforms. The results of the experiments show that the total active power is a sum of the active powers produced by the voltage and current harmonics with the same serial number.
