Abstract

We have experimentally demonstrated tunable and reconfigurable spectrum sharing of two asynchronous QPSK data channels using power division multiplexing. Both 20 Gbaud strong and 9 Gbaud weak signals are demodulated with BER below FEC using successive interference cancellation, and they can have different baudrates and modulation formats.
