Abstract

We demonstrate optical transcoding of 5-Gbit/s OOK data signal from 10-Gbit/s QPSK data signal. A BPSK signal is first generated by constellation squeezing through four-wave-mixing, and then it is shifted to the OOK signal through coherent vector addition.
