N2 - A solvable stochastic model inspired by granular gases for driven dissipative systems was studied. Energy distributions were also investigated numerically in a two-dimensional version of this model assuming a random impact parameters in every collision. The model consists of a collection of N particles having energies Ei, with a constant interaction rate between any two particles in the systems. A dissipative system coupled to a heat bath is very different from a conservative system coupled to the same bath.
