Abstract

The exact relations between critical exponents for elastic stiffness and electrical conductivity of percolating networks are studied. In case of a random mixture of normal elastic and totally rigid bonds, the corresponding conducting network will be a mixture of normal conducting bonds and perfectly conducting bonds. For any bonds adjoining such a z-parallel bond at a given site, the angular degree of freedom will be rotation in unison around that z-parallel bond.
