Abstract

The General/Rigional Circulation Models (GCM/RCM) were evaluated by using the classified synoptic systems approach. The model originates from the European Center for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF). It was found that the description of model daily outputs over a region by the synoptic systems allows separating the weather effects caused by the different synoptic systems. It was also observed that the model dose not depict the multi-decadal monotonic trends seen in the reanalysis data.
