Abstract

This article demonstrates the usefulness of user satisfaction measurement to pinpoint potential problem areas as well as to document application areas with satisfied users in hospital information systems. It discusses the rationale of measuring user satisfaction and the instruments to carry out the measurement procedure. It, then, reports the results of implementing a previously developed, documented, and validated user satisfaction measurement instrument in a hospital environment.
