Abstract
Evaluating the bladder outlet is the cornerstone in diagnosing urinary incontinence. A medical history and physical examination help direct the diagnosis and a radiologic and urodynamic evaluation help identify the exact type of incontinence. An individually tailored outlet evaluation help identify the exact type of incontinence. An individually tailored outlet evaluation assists in choosing the most appropriate therapy and preventing unnecessary treatment.
