Abstract

As a result of a small programming mistake, some of the results contained in the paper “Children, Time Allocation, and Consumption Insurance,” published in the October 2018 issue (vol. 126[S1]) of the Journal of Political Economy, are incorrect. In keeping with the journal’s editorial policy, this erratum includes the revised tables and figures; as the interested reader can verify, the changes are negligible and do not affect in any meaningful way the qualitative interpretation of the findings. For this reason, the text has not been modified. Researchers interested in replicating the results below should access the updated replication package available on the journal’s website.
