Abstract

"Chemical Equation Presented" Knock, knock! Despite the similar high-field 1H NMR spectra of different alcohols in the presence of hexameric capsules of resorcin[4]arenes, diffusion NMR spectroscopy showed that only some of these alcohols are truly encapsulated in the hexameric capsules, whereas other alcohols are part of the hexameric structure of the capsules (see schematic representation; R=C11H23).
