Abstract

Experimental results of investigating a radiating system based on a hybrid structure are presented. This system includes a dielectric image guide and an electrically long microstrip radiator. The structure of near zone fields is investigated. The influence of the principal parameters of the microstrip on characteristics of the radiating system is established.
