Eigenvalue analysis of graded index nonlinear optical antiwaveguide

Abstract

Stability regions of graded index nonlinear optical antiwaveguides are numerically investigated. It is shown that as the antiwaveguide boundary between the core and cladding grows steeper, the structure becomes more effective from the viewpoint of stability of the propagating mode.
