N2 - A one-dimensional kinetic Ising model, with hierarchical couplings, is solved. We find algebraic relaxation of the magnetization, with a temperature-dependent exponent, and breakdown of dynamic scaling. The nonlinear relaxation time diverges with the system size below a dynamic transition temperature. Possible relevance to dilute Ising systems at percolation is discussed.
