Abstract
An improved approach for detecting generalized synchrony (GS) was discussed. Some of the difficulties involved in detecting GS in systems that exhibit noninvertibility and/or wrinkling were examined. The results showed that it is possible to greatly improve detection by reducing the pseudofalse neighbors effects.
