N2 - We study the effects of photocarrier density on a magnetically induced Fano resonance in GaAs, using a combined phase-amplitude transmission spectroscopy technique. By comparing our results to an extension of the Fano model we measure the relative contributions of two, usually undistinguished, effects of the photocarriers: the screening of the inter-Landau-level Coulomb coupling, and the induced collisional broadening of the coupled discrete-state/continuum natural linewidth.
