Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a beamforming technique for mitigating channel crosstalk effects due to both misalignment and turbulence in a two-mode-multiplexed free-space-optical communication link, achieving a crosstalk reduction by ~15 dB in a 50-Gbits/s/channel link.
