Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate the use of mode and space diversity with 2 modes and 2 aperture pairs to enhance system reliability under turbulence for a 100-Gbit/s QPSK FSO link, achieving BERs of <3.8×10-3 under various emulated turbulence realizations.
