Abstract

We experimentally investigate the 2-D modal power coupling of LG-{11} and HG-{11} beams under dynamic aerosol and water curvature, and demonstrate a 1-Gbit/s LG-{11} FSO link, having a penalty of ∼3-dB compared with no-effect cases.
