Abstract

The Wiener filter is the optimum linear deconvolution filter for a single image. As the results of Wiener filtering are not always satisfactory, we changed the problem to that of estimating the object from two or more images made with different point spread functions, Very simple formulae result which have the intuitively required properties. Computer experiments show that distinct improvements can be made in this way.
