Critical behavior of the low-field hall conductivity at a percolation threshold

Abstract

The critical behavior of the low-field Hall effect in a three-dimensional metal-nonmetal composite near the percolation threshold has been determined for the first time from calculations on a reliable random-resistor-network model. The Hall coefficient Re is found to diverge as |p-pc|-g, where g=0.290.05.
