Abstract
The coupling of an open resonator with spherical circular mirrors and an H10 mode rectangular waveguide is calculated. The calculation is performed in the dipole approximation, but the effect of the waveguide walls is taken into account in the magnetic polarizability tensor of the coupling hole. The calculations are compared with experimental data.
