## Abstract

The method of Coulomb approximation is used to calculate absolute transition probabilities of the spectral lines in the transition array 3d ^{9}4d-3d^{9}4f of Cu II. The line strengths of the relevant spectral transitions were calculated in an intermediate coupling scheme based on a parametric study of the corresponding electron configurations. Transition probabilities of 43 lines which are greater than 10^{7} s^{-1} are presented.
