Abstract

The method of Coulomb approximation is used to calculate absolute transition probabilities of the spectral lines in the transition array 3d 94d-3d94f of Cu II. The line strengths of the relevant spectral transitions were calculated in an intermediate coupling scheme based on a parametric study of the corresponding electron configurations. Transition probabilities of 43 lines which are greater than 107 s-1 are presented.
