CV death occurred in 26 (20%) and 47 patients (37%) (rate 0.05 vs 0.11, HR 0.43, 95% CI 0.26–0.70, P < .001) in the monitored and control group, respectively. During the entire study period, there were 13 deaths (10%) from HF in the monitored and 31 HF deaths (24%) in the control groups (rate 0.03 vs 0.08, HR 0.32, 95% CI 0.17–0.62, P < .001, Fig. 2D–F).
