Abstract

The authors regret an error in the Abstract, and in the Methods section of their article. Please note that albumin levels should be listed as: marked hypoalbuminemia (<2.5 g/dL), mild hypoalbuminemia (2.5-3.5 g/dL), normal albumin (3.5-4.5 g/dL), and hyperalbuminemia (>4.5 g/dL). These values were incorrectly listed in units of mg/dL in the published article on pages 1465.e11 (in the Abstract) and 1465.e12 (in the Methods section). Elsewhere in the text, and in the published Tables, these values were listed correctly. The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused. We thank Dr S. Naidoo for bringing this to our attention.
