abstract = "We investigate the static and dynamic properties of a one-dimensional system composed of Brownian particles subject to a periodic potential by using Langevin dynamics simulation. In addition to different types of interaction between the mobile particles, we study the effect of the coupling of the diffusing particle with the crystalline cage. For each kind of interaction potential, we also discuss how the bulk frequency-dependent conductivity is affected by the correlated motion of the particles.",
