Abstract

This paper considers the operation and the control of the General Transposed Series-Parallel Switched Capacitor Converter. The paper reviews the complex topology of this type of converter as well as addresses the control scheme of the converter. The paper shows the advantage of this converter in voltage regulation due to its multitude input/output voltage ratio. Moreover, these multitude voltage ratios require a control system that is based a look up table as well as considerations regarding the discrete nature of this converter.
