Together with four species previously recorded from Israel, there an: at present 14 species known cnly from Israel. The Israeli fauna of Trichoptera belongs to the western palaeartic region. Two species (Pseudoneurec/ipsis palmonii Flint. Ecnomus galilaeus Tjed.) show affinity to the African fauna and two others (Glossosoma ha::banica n. sp. And Hydroptila palaestinae n. sp.) to the oriental fauna, but the’e are the exceptions to the rule. Ten new species are described and notes on zoogeographical distribution and descriptions of habitats are given.
