Abstract
The new method, presented in this paper, enables one to limit the number of possible solutions and by using grapho-analytical methods to home in on the optimum solution. The optimum site for a substation is the location which will result in minimum construction and operation costs. After presenting the basic equations and their grapho-analytical solution, a numerical example is given, which illustrates the use of the proposed method.
