Abstract
We note scenarios for composite models of particles in the standard model where the absence of rare processes, such as KL → μ±e∓, and the smallness of the KLKS mass difference do not impose as severe constraints on the scale of compositeness, Λ, as thought up to now. We argue that, under these special circumstances a compositeness scale as low as several hundred GeV could be allowed by present data, making it theoretically acceptable to consider the apparent radiative decays of the Z0 to be connected with compositeness.
