Abstract

School administration in the Israeli educational system is undergoing a rapid computerization process. This paper presents the way in which the Israeli educational system is coping with this issue. Four computerization phases are presented and available applications described. An analysis and evaluation of design strategies, use (including administrative, operational, and assimilation difficulties) and effects of computerized school administration conclude the discussion.
