Abstract

We prove that for any noninteger real sequence λn = n + o(1), there exists a function Mathematical bold italic small phi sign ∈ L2 (ℝ) such that the system of translates {Mathematical bold italic small phi sign(t - λn)} spans all of the space L2 (ℝ).
