Abstract

AN ANALYSIS OF THE POLARIZATION DEPENDENCE OF THE PHOTOCURRENT AND THE SECOND DERIVATIVES OF THE REFLECTANCES OF S- ANDP-POLARIZED LIGHT WITH RESPECT TO THE POTENTIAL FOR INDIUM AND LEAD, WHICH CONFIRMED THE IDEAS DEVELOPED PREVIOUSLY ON THE MECHANISM OF ELECTROMODULATION ASSOCIATED WITH THE PROPERTIES OF PHOTOEXCITED ELECTRONS, IS CARRIED OUT. IT IS SHOWNTHAT THE INTERFERENCE TERM IN THE EXPRESSION FOR THE PHOTOCURRENT IN P-POLARIZED LIGHT DIFFERS FROM ZERO IN THE CASE OFLEAD AND IS EQUAL TO ZERO IN THE CASE OF INDIUM.
