N2 - To the Editor: My colleagues and I have submitted three abstracts to be considered for the Sixth Asean Congress of Cardiology, to take place in Indonesia in June 1986. In his letter of February 7, 1986, Dr. Dede Kusmana of the Scientific Committee stated: “Although we have made efforts, we are sorry that due to our Government's strict regulation, we will not be able to accept participants from Israel.” Although the letter was cordial, a scientific boycott for political or racial reasons is unacceptable. I would like you to print my letter so that any scientist to whom scientific freedom….
