Abstract

An analysis of iliocavograms in 75 children, aged 12 days to 14 years demonstrated the main pathways of collateral circulation in cases of occlusion of the inferior vena cava. Three cases of children with cavo-portal links via the inferior epigastric veins and persistent umbilical vein to the portal system are presented for the first time in the English literature.
