Collaboration and mental health education for military primary care physicians

Abstract

This paper highlights the diverse ways in which army mental health specialists can intervene as therapists, consultants and supervisors to the primary care physician and his team. Various consultatin and collaboration approaches are described, as well as the need for army medical staff to participate in ongoing mental health training workshops.
