Abstract
Unusual equality of size ratios of the length of the upper tooth row exist for the N Negev community and for greatest length of skull for the coastal dunes. Results are probably an outcome of competition over food; the smaller species, which have shorter tooth row, specialize in feeding on seeds and the larger species, with longer tooth row, eat more vegetation. -from Author
