Abstract

Identifies and exemplifies the consequences of human activity on animal life: hunting, habitat destruction, exploitation of the seashore, afforestation (together with fruit plantations and horticulture), veterinary care, poisoning, garbage (reduction of sites, but greater quantity and quality), changes in agricultural practices, and interbreeding with domestic conspecifics. -P.J.Jarvis
