The authors describe a patient with hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia who subsequently had a brain abscess, was successfully treated with drainage and antibiotics, and was followed by serial CT scans. They review the reported cases and discuss the clinical, radiologic and bacteriologic findings as well as the therapy and outcome of these patients.
