Abstract

Ces différences de style des peintures funéraires sont analysées dans cet article à travers trois motifs représentatifs que nous avons privilégiés: le paon, pour la faune, la vigne pour la flore, et la femme, (commanditaire du tombeau) comme incarnation des êtres humains. In the Roman funerary wall paintings discovered in Israel, several stylistic trends can be clearly discerned.
