Abstract

We present the case of a 75 year-old female with Wegener's Granulomatosis. The patient arrived intubated to the emergency room, following loss of consciousness and a generalized seizure. A magnetic resonance imaging brain scan revealed a space occupying lesion (SOL) in the right temporal region. Subsequent investigation indicated the SOL to be a primary lymphoma of the central nervous system. The clinical manifestations of granulomatosis with polyangiitis on both the central and peripheral nervous systems are reviewed herein, as well as the appropriated treatment modalities and the link between this disease and various malignancies.
