Abstract

CASE tools are rapidly being accepted by information technology professionals as a major development and design tool. As part of the updating of the curricula for training of IT professionals at high-school level in Israel, where 'regular' IBM compatible PCs serve as a hardware platform, teaching of CASE tools was successfully implemented. The software selection process, the technical and pedagogical considerations and the implementation process are presented.
