Abstract

The author focuses on the contributions of John Glubb in integrating the political and government system in the Middle East. The author denotes Glubb's unique leadership style in integrating nomadic tribes and in instituting central government in the region. The author cites the negative impressions of some Arab leaders on Glubb's effort, which caused his termination as colonial administrator in the region. Glubb's success in arranging the government system in the region is also mentioned.
