Abstract

Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is rather rare in most parts of the world. It is potentially curable with radiotherapy; thus, awareness of high-risk populations is advised especially in nonendemic areas. Central nervous system involvement by NPC includes both spinal and brain metastases. In spite of the anatomic proximity of the nasopharynx, brain metastases without base of skull bone involvement are uncommon. This chapter discusses brain metastasis from NPC.
