Abstract
Thrombophlebitis is a recognized manifestation of Behcet's disease but thrombotic occlusion of large vessels is rare (Haim et al., 1971; Enoch et al., 1968; Kansu et al., 1972). We report here two cases with superior vena caval obstruction and defective fibrinolysis which were treated successfully with fibrinolytic agents.
