This paper deals with two types of axisymmetric flow in a half-space: the emission of a jet and the flow beneath a rotating disk. By means of a Bessel transformation the flow is in both cases obtained in the form of integrals containing Bessel functions. For a point jet the solution is found in closed form. For flows of the first type the solution is also obtained in the Oseen approximation. In the special case of flow beneath a conducting disk the problem reduces to a system of paired integral equations which in turn reduce to a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind that can be integrated numerically.
