Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate a petal-like attenuation-resilient ranging beam with a ~9.5-dB central power enhancement at a 0.4-meter ranging distance, achieving 5 mm average ranging errors over 0-0.4 m in scattering water (γ = 5.1 m-1).
